How It Started
Back in the early 1980s, Dean Memmo completed a full term as a medic in the US Coast Guard. In 1987, following his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps, he started working for Pennsylvania American Water Company in Pittsburgh laying the groundwork for what would eventually become his own business.
Eventually, Dean and his wife decided she would stay at home to raise the children, and in order to support his family, he started a contracting business installing and servicing domestic water wells.. After doing residential work for a couple of years, he got an opportunity to work with a large coal mine providing environmental remediation, fixing any groundwater problems that might have come about from the mining operation.
